About Me
Born in Vancouver, Canada, I spent the better part of my life growing up not really appreciating the outdoors. It wasn't until 2012, I went on my first backpacking trip through the Juan de Fuca. Thus began an insatiable quest to continue exploring and enjoying nature.
I took up ski touring in 2015 so the fun didn't have to stop when the temperature drops. The connection you make with nature while touring brings a deeper understanding of how our actions have impacted our planet.
In 2019, I went Vegan, minimized my purchasing footprint, and reduced how much I drive. All of these efforts is my acknowledgement that my previous ecological footprint was large. I want to continue enjoying the backcountry, but also know it'll be there for future generations.
I use a Sony A6500 to help document my trips.
